How to Check Your iKhedut Application Status Online
Don't wait in line at government offices. Learn how to quickly check the status of your subsidy application online.
You have gathered your documents, followed our Registration Guide, and successfully submitted your physical application to the Gram Sevak. Now comes the waiting period. In the past, farmers had to make repeated, time-consuming trips to district offices to find out if their application was approved. Today, the iKhedut portal allows you to track your application status from the comfort of your home or local computer center.
Why Checking Your Status Matters
The application process involves multiple stages of approval—from the initial document check to the final release of funds. Tracking your status is crucial because:
- Error Correction: If your application is flagged for a minor error (like an unreadable document), the status will reflect this, giving you a chance to correct it before it gets permanently rejected.
- Draw Results: For high-demand schemes like the Tractor Subsidy, the government often uses a computerized randomized draw to select beneficiaries. The status will tell you if you were selected in the draw.
- Verification Readiness: The status will indicate when it is time for an official to visit your farm using the Mobile Verification App, ensuring you are prepared for their visit.
Step-by-Step Guide to Checking Status
Follow these simple steps to find out where your application stands:
- Visit the Official Portal: Open your web browser and navigate to the official website: https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in.
- Locate the Application Status Link: On the homepage, look for an option titled "Check Application Status" or "Arji ni Sthiti" (in Gujarati). Click on this link.
- Enter Your Details: The system will prompt you for two pieces of information to locate your file:
- Your registered Mobile Number or Aadhaar Number.
- Your specific Application Number (this is the number you received when you confirmed and printed your application form).
- View the Result: Click submit. The screen will display the current stage of your application (e.g., Pending at Taluka Level, Approved, Rejected, Selected in Draw, Sent for Payment).
What if My Status is Rejected?
If your status shows as rejected, the portal usually provides a brief reason. Common reasons include mismatched bank details preventing DBT, or failure to submit the physical copy of the application within the 7-day window. Ensure you meet all Eligibility Criteria strictly before applying again in the next cycle.
